Manager, James Sallows. Our Safety Committee has been certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Bureau of Workers' Compensation. The Master Builders' Association (MBA), the local affiliate to the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), recognized TEDCO with the 2002 Safety Excellence Award. This prestigious honor is presented annually to the MBA member that has the best safety practices as judged by an independent panel.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program
TEDCO Construction certifies that we have developed and implemented a bid solicitation process geared to maximize the participation of subcontractors and suppliers identified as "Minority Business Enterprise" (MBE) OR "Women-Owner Business Enterprises" (WBE). "Minority Business Enterprise" is defined as a business wherein at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the ownership is by individuals who are either Black, Hispanic, Asian or Pacific Islander, American Indian or Alaskan native. Further definition of these groups is the same as those definitions provided for in Federal law concerning minorities in employment. "Women Business Enterprise" is defined as a business wherein at least fifty-one percent (51%) of the ownership is by females. |
